Meet your dentistS

Steven D. Aeschliman, DDS, PS

Dr. Steven D. Aeschliman was born in Brussels Belgium and grew up in Albuquerque, NM. As the owner and leading doctor of the practice, Dr. Aeschliman has an impressive educational background. After earning a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry, he pursued a doctorate in dental surgery in graduate school. From there, he completed a periodontal residency and gained certification in the specialty. Additional education courses he has completed include between 50 and 100 accreditation hours in all subject areas. Dr. Aeschliman is affiliated with the American Academy of Periodontology, Washington State Dental Association, Spokane District Dental Society, and Mosaic.

Dr. Aeschliman joined our practice in 2002 where he has enjoyed interacting with and treating his Spokane patients. Being a part of a great team in a challenging field of work inspires him to strive for excellence every day.

Outside of the office, Dr. Aeschliman enjoys skiing, working out, traveling, and seeing movies. His family consists of two children—his son, Porter, and his daughter, Sophie.

Luke Harden, DDS, Endodontist

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Luke Harden to our team! A Colorado native, Dr. Harden brings a wealth of clinical expertise and a calm, compassionate presence to endodontic care in the Spokane area. He earned his dental degree from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 2018, completed a General Practice Residency in rural Maine, and went on to specialize in endodontics at Boston University, finishing his advanced training in 2021. Since then, he has been serving patients in private practice with a steady hand and a deep commitment to quality care.

Dr. Harden first encountered dentistry head-on—literally—after taking a hockey stick to the face during his college years. That experience gave him a firsthand look at the powerful impact of restorative dental care and ultimately sparked his passion for the field. He was drawn to endodontics for its technical precision and its ability to provide immediate relief from pain and infection—offering patients a clear path back to oral health and comfort. Dr. Harden finds great fulfillment in helping patients preserve their natural teeth while transforming what is often a stressful experience into a positive and reassuring one.

When he’s not performing root canals, Dr. Harden enjoys traveling, skiing, relaxing by the lake, and keeping up with his two lively dogs.
